Ducted Evaporative Air Conditioners

Ducted evaporative air conditioning is a cheap and popular way to cool your whole home. It delivers 100% fresh air and uses up to 80% less electricity than a reverse cycle system.

The advantages are that the whole house is cooled at once, doors and windows can be left open, it supplies fresh air to the house without drying out the air and it is cheap to run.

How It Works

Hot air enters the evaporative unit via the fan which draws in the air. The air is filtered and cooled when passing over the evaporative pads which have water pumped through them enabling the evaporative process. The cooled air is then blown into every room of the house through flexible duct work in your roof space.

With advancements in technology, water use is managed efficiently and the latest in fans and fan motors allow for a quieter unit operation and improved performance.
